DESCRIPTION:

A rapidly growing law firm based in Eloffsdal (Parktown/Mayville) has an exciting opportunity for an Admin Assistant. The successful candidate must be forward-thinking in driving innovative solution. We have a dynamic and culturally diverse team and would like to invite individuals with high ethical standards, strong and positive personality with a passion for communication, and client services to apply for this position.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMNETS:

  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • Certificate in Business Administration OR
  • Certificate in Human Resource Management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English and other local languages
  • Proficiency in MS Office, with exceptional knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint

DUTIES:

  • Scheduling meetings and appointments
  • Welcoming new employees to the organization by conducting orientation
  • Taking notes and minutes in meetings
  • Ordering and taking stock of office suppliers
  • Being a point of contact for a range of staff and external stakeholders
  • Preparing documents for meetings and business trip
  • Processing and directing mail and incoming packages or deliveries
  • Official vehicle management
  • Maintaining employee information by entering and updating employment and status-change data.
  • Providing secretarial support
  • Maintaining employee confidence and protecting operations by keeping human resource information confidential
  • Maintaining quality service by following organization standards.
  • Maintaining regular client liaison (internal clients)
  • Finding ways to improve administrative processes.
